"Take a festive photo in one of our stores, or dig out a classic from the family album and share it through Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #DisneyStoreFamily."
For every treasured moment shared, Disney Store will donate a soft toy to children's charities. This year their chosen charities for the UK are Great Ormond Street Hospital and In Kind Direct. If you don't have Twitter or Instagram, you can also share via The Disney Store's page on Facebook.
That's not all though, each family that submits a photo will be entered into a competition to win a family trip to New York, including a private shopping spree at the Disney Store in Times Square. It's a huge prize for someone, and so we gave it our best efforts to win while we were there!
I even managed to sneakily catch a shot of my 7 year old 'using the force' among the massive Star Wars section (unsurprisingly where we spent most of our time). He had no idea I was there. This is apparently what they do when they think we're not looking....
You can even get Star Wars underpants, mug, pyjamas and slippers. The complete relaxtion package....
My youngest was a bit torn between Star Wars and Marvel. Disney own Marvel Studios, but I really hadn't considered there would so much merchandise available in the Disney Store.
Of course it isn't all fast-paced action and superheroes, there is still plenty of space for the Pixar movies, the fairy tales, and the boss of the whole show, Mickey Mouse.
In fact - look who we met! Ana and Elsa popped in for a hot chocolate. My youngest is a bit nervous about seeing characters from screens in real life, but we managed to convince him out from underneath my skirt in the end!

Safe from the princesses for another day!
This is the 7th year Disney Store has run a Christmas campaign for children's charities, and to date they've given more than 125,000 soft toys to children throughout Europe. This year they will add up to 15,000 more across the UK, France and Ireland.
The 'From Our Family To Yours' initiative runs until 6pm Christmas Eve and you can find out more, as well as view the gallery of competition entries and find some free printable activities on The Disney Store Website Christmas page.
Dig out those photos! Best of luck....
We were treated to our evening and the boys were given a Mickey Mouse soft toy goodie bag in return for writing this post.
