The Brick Castle

I've written blogs before, I thought it would be easy enough to start. I didn't count on the fact that I'd have to think of a name for my own blog, rather than being spoonfed something blahhh and boring by someone else.
As I intend to use this blog for some considerable time, I wanted it to sound interesting, not entirely about children, not age-specific, not too girly. It has to be cool (even if only in my head), great, descriptive and original. After about 6 weeks of contemplation, I've bitten the bullet and gone for it. We came up with The Brick Castle, which Google told us was previously unused, and I think is about as perfectly descriptive as you can get in 3 words.

The aim of this blog is to give you an insight into our lives, and to share and demonstrate play and entertainment ideas for children and young people from tiny to teen (and probably beyond if we're honest). I hope you will find it interesting and useful. We are very lucky to be involved with Izziwizzi Kids and Playfest - which takes place most Tuesday nights 8.30-10 on Twitter, and Thursday nights 8.30-10 on Facebook, and we have a whole host of blogging friends from which to draw inspiration (and more than a little help!).

Ladies and Gentlemen - Please let me introduce to you - The  Brick Castle....I hope you like it.
