Not really, it only takes a little while to get the colours how you want them, but it's well worth the effort. I'm tempted to do one with different sponge flavours, but so far I've only tried pineapple and vanilla... :)

It reminds me of the marble cake I made for my guide cooking badge, many years ago. I'd forgotten all about it so thank you for the reminder.
It's actually my school cookery book (on A4 stapled together)that I use for the recipe :D
