It's noon and no-one has had any chocolate.
Two of the teenagers are still in bed and two are still on their way back from a trip to France.
Thankfully my little boys haven't really got the hang of Easter yet, we're off to an Egg Hunt in 2 hours and I'll be back in time to cook my partner's lamb if he isn't back from work yet, so it'll all be fiiiiiiine.
I asked my boys what Easter was about. The result surprised me......a lot.
Have a great Easter wherever you are and whatever you're doing.....
I hope it's a day full of smiles....
I much prefer Zombie Jesus Day to Easter! Your boys are so cute and I love children's takes on things! Perhaps there was a donkey at Easter as well as Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteI really didn't understand the donkey at all :D
DeleteWell done for making it to lunch time before chocolate. We lasted until last Thursday!
ReplyDeleteHahaha....even better - they only had their Easter eggs this afternoon in the end!
DeleteI am curious to find out what blog platform you have been using?
ReplyDeleteI'm having some minor security issues with my latest site and I'd like to find something more secure.
Do you have any solutions?

So lovely to see children's perspective of Easter, I thought that they would just say eggs!
ReplyDeleteSo did I! I was really stunned by it :)
DeleteThey know their stuff :) don't they? We don't do Easter yet as my girls, well at least the eldest, aren't quite old enough to get it. Hunt next year perhaps!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely when they get that bit older - watch out for the Easter bunny though, I'm not really sure where he fits in!
DeleteI love their answers. They are pretty spot on too. it is so funny listening to kids discuss things. My boys were talking about it with their friends and Mini responded that Grandma didn't get resurrected!
ReplyDeleteAww bless - poor Grandma! It was lovely hearing them chat about it, I had to ask them to repeat it to camera :)
DeleteHaha x gotta love kids and how they see things! lol xx
ReplyDeleteThey are hilarious at times. I love this age - they come out with some fascinating and crazy stuff :) x
Deletewell done for not laughing till the end! Your two are so cute, and this made me laugh. something I think you could show them when they are older and bribery perhaps!
ReplyDelete:D I'm keeping it all. If these teenagers think we're mean to them, this is practice!
DeleteWith a Vicar for a Papa I grew up being in church for Easter services. I do like the Zombie idea though (just don't tell my Mum!)
ReplyDelete:D Hahaha....one of the teenagers came up with the zombie thing a few years ago. I think it's so tongue-in-cheek it's never offended anyone yet.
DeleteI've still not had any chocolate yet...not sure how that happened tbh.
ReplyDeleteLoving the video!
Not yet! That's outrageous :D
DeleteThanks for you lovely comments about the video :)
