Easter at noon and no chocolate yet....

It's Easter Sunday (that's Zombie Jesus day if you're atheist) and my partner got called in to work because something broke. Poopy.

It's noon and no-one has had any chocolate.

Two of the teenagers are still in bed and two are still on their way back from a trip to France.

Thankfully my little boys haven't really got the hang of Easter yet, we're off to an Egg Hunt in 2 hours and I'll be back in time to cook my partner's lamb if he isn't back from work yet, so it'll all be fiiiiiiine.

I asked my boys what Easter was about. The result surprised me......a lot.

Have a great Easter wherever you are and whatever you're doing.....
I hope it's a day full of smiles....

  1. I much prefer Zombie Jesus Day to Easter! Your boys are so cute and I love children's takes on things! Perhaps there was a donkey at Easter as well as Christmas :)

  3. I am curious to find out what blog platform you have been using?
I'm having some minor security issues with my latest site and I'd like to find something more secure.

    Do you have any solutions?

  4. So lovely to see children's perspective of Easter, I thought that they would just say eggs!

  5. They know their stuff :) don't they? We don't do Easter yet as my girls, well at least the eldest, aren't quite old enough to get it. Hunt next year perhaps!

    1. It's lovely when they get that bit older - watch out for the Easter bunny though, I'm not really sure where he fits in!

  6. I love their answers. They are pretty spot on too. it is so funny listening to kids discuss things. My boys were talking about it with their friends and Mini responded that Grandma didn't get resurrected!

    1. :D I'm keeping it all. If these teenagers think we're mean to them, this is practice!

  9. With a Vicar for a Papa I grew up being in church for Easter services. I do like the Zombie idea though (just don't tell my Mum!)

    1. :D Hahaha....one of the teenagers came up with the zombie thing a few years ago. I think it's so tongue-in-cheek it's never offended anyone yet.
