Today I'm delighted to announce that we will be spending the next year as Ambassadors for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Manchester and it's neighbour at Barton Square in the Trafford Centre, SeaLife, Manchester.
They're places that we love, and have visited many times, so it's a great opportunity and I hope we do a good job.
We were lucky enough to visit SeaLife before it even opened to the public, and it's lovely to go back and see how it is changing and evolving over time. When we first went everything was very 'clean' and new, and I got the opportunity to take some amazing photos. My full post is here...
And we've been back since, including to see the Moshi Monsters invade the tanks. That post is here....
LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is obviously a place we love, and we've spent many a Saturday afternoon watching the children play there. I first wrote about it in April 2013 when we went to meet other bloggers from the Manchester and North West area - that post is here... and is frankly a bit rubbish..
We all just want to lie in LEGO, right? Then we remember it's a bit sharp! |
Over the next 12 months we'll share updates and news, and hopefully there'll be plenty more of this....
And this...
Fantastic news!! Two great Ambassadors roles!! We might be planning a family trip to Legoland Discover Centre so will have to get some tips off you before we go!
ReplyDeleteOh absolutely! Crikey, if you're coming this far North I'll meet up with you if I can :)
DeleteCongrats! What a great news especially they are both great places to visit!
ReplyDeleteCheers Eileen! They are both two of our very favourite places :)
DeleteFantastic! These are two great local attractions and I'm really pleased to be an ambassador along side you.
ReplyDeleteYeeay! I'll be seeing you there sometime then :)
DeleteWonderful news, and very apt too. Will have to visit Manchester one day as I've never been and the Lego Discovery Centre does sound fab. We love the Birmingham Sealife Centre - Monkey has a thing for stingrays so it's a great place to watch them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary. You'd like Manchester - it has a lot of history and is a very friendly place actually. The Imperial War Museum, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and SeaLife are all within the same small area, so you could easily do the 3 in a day :)
DeleteCongratulations! Sounds like The Brick Castle will be having lots of exciting days out this year! Well deserved too x
ReplyDeleteCheers Tami - I think we'll definitely be a lot happier to take the teenagers shopping at the Trafford Centre - we can leave them to it :)
DeleteOh wow! The perfect Ambassadorships for you and so local too! I wonder if Legoland Windsor need Ambassadors? It's a ten minute drive from us and LP seemed to live there last summer x
ReplyDeleteWow!! You live 10 minutes from LEGOLAND Windsor!! My boys would be so jealous :D
DeleteThey are great Ambassadorships - my youngest one says they're his two favourite places, so he's over the moon :)
Congrats, what an exciting year. I look forward to reading about your trips.
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks Angela. We're all absoltely full of gcolds, but as long as we can still walk, the first visit should be this weekend :)
