Thankfully they only listed things I'm fully capable of! The unedited version has 3 mentions of the Playstation and several more mentions of sweets. They're a fickle pair....nice to see how much they enjoy going to museums and the LEGO shop though.
While flowers are lovely, they aren't the only, nor the greatest, reward to being a Mum. I was asked to give my thoughts on what the biggest reward to being a Mum is, and this is my answer.....
A far harder job than I imagined, I decided in the end that my biggest reward comes from watching my children have compassion and care for each other. I'm proud of them when they achieve anything, and I have huge folders full of certificates and badges for every child, but it's the things that don't earn a prize which I value more.
Some of the best videos will be added to a compilation tape by Interflora, which will be shown in the run up to Mother's Day this year.
We were provided with a children's Lexibook video camera in order to film the videos for this post, and as a thank you to the children for taking part.
Awww the boys are so cute! Playstation and Lego, definitely high on the priority list of our two...well Xbox 360 LOL.
ReplyDelete:D It's funny what they thought of just off the top of their heads - but yep, games consoles!!
DeleteThat is brilliant! Will have a look soon!
ReplyDeleteThe videos are both less than one minute Eileen! :D
DeleteYour boys are so adorable! I can imagine if I asked the question LEGO and Playstation would be mentioned a lot too!
ReplyDeleteAt times!! :D It was very sweet. I'm totally using 'going to the shop with Jake' as a huge bribe now though!
DeleteLove this, and I agree with your most rewarding part of motherhood too I think!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you Pippa :) It's really hard to pinpoint one thing to be most rewarding x
