Batman LEGO Batboat Harbour Pursuit Giveaway

I have a giveaway for you today that I really like, and I hope you like it too. How would you like to win the LEGO Superheroes set 76034 The Batboat Harbour Pursuit? Recommended for builders aged 6+, this is a set which I think is great for playing with, and makes a lovely shelf model for the collector.

I'm always more than happy to share my love of LEGO, so being asked by House Of Fraser if I wanted to give away a prize from their Construction Toys And Building Blocks range was an easy thing to accept.


With a budget of £30 and a whole host of toys to choose from, I maybe should have thought outside the box a bit, but instead I went simply for what I like and chose the Batman LEGO. Superhero LEGO is incredibly popular in my house, and it brings a smile to the adult's faces just as much as the children. It encourages storytelling and comprehension, moral learning and creativity. I like nothing more than watching and listening to my children rescue each other's characters, from their invented bad guy aliens and robots with amazing superpowers and 'special moves'.

One of the things I love best about this set is that it shows so beautifully the range of complexity you can have with LEGO - one of the most complicated water vehicles in Batman's Batboat Hoverboat, alongside a vehicle with beautiful simplicity, Deathstroke's Jetboat.

The Batboat Harbour Pursuit has 264 pieces and is recommended for age 6-12.

    Making up your own super hero is *hard*.

    But Lego pieces have a tendency to get dropped onto carpets and blend into them perfectly until you tread on them with bare feet, so I'm going to go with "Carpet Man -- Ready to jump into action and attack your feet"
