Swap out the sugary snacks and win over £100 of Ricola Swiss Herbal Sweets!

If you are in the Manchester area over the next 2 days and visit the Arndale Centre,  you will be able to bag yourself some delicious sugar-free Ricola Swiss Herbal Sweets in exchange for binning your sugary snacks.

Research about to be revealed shows that 65% of Manchester’s adults are careless about their sugar intake and Ricola want to introduce more people to a lower sugar lifestyle. Expert Dietician Kirsten Crothers will be on hand to give advice and information, and they will have plenty of their Stevia sweetened sweets to hand out.

It's incredibly easy to eat a lot of sugar in your everyday diet, and we're often told that we should work to reduce that sugar intake, but it doesn't have to mean cutting out sweet treats entirely. Stevia is a natural alternative to sugar taken from a specific variety of the Stevia herb. It contains no calories, doesn't cause dental cavities and has been popular in Japan since the 1970's. Stevia has also been eaten by people living in South America for centuries.

My other half has a very sweet tooth, and the handy flip-top boxes of Ricola are ideal for him to keep in his pocket or briefcase. Each box contains 45g of hard-boiled sweets to keep you going for a while, and the flavours are quite different to usual UK boiled sugar sweet flavours, all containing menthol to help with Winter sniffles - including Liquorice, Mountain Mint, Cranberry, Lemon Mint and The Original (a fruity minty taste).

If you can't make it to Manchester's Arndale Centre on Thursday 28th Jan and Friday 29th Jan, you can also find Ricola for sale in shops all over the UK, or online including the Ricola website priced around £1.35 for a 45g box.

I am delighted to offer one of my readers a staggering 80 packets of Ricola Swiss Herbal Sweets as a giveaway prize. That has a value of over £100 and should keep anyone going for a long while!

Entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below, and it will end at midnight Sunday 28th February. No entry is mandatory, but each task completed will gain you extra entries into the final random draw. Open to UK entries only, please see terms and conditions at the bottom of the Gleam form.
