Amazing! Magazine For Kids 7+ - Review, Discount Code and Giveaway (10 Winners)

My children love to find new material to read, and Amazing! really is excellent new material. A monthly printed magazine aimed at children aged around 7+, each issue has content based on the National Curriculum, delivered in a really exciting and interesting way.

Amazing! Magazine For Kids 7+ - Review, Discount Code and Giveaway (10 Winners)

Each edition is around 36 pages printed in full colour on good quality paper. It has a main theme running throughout and is packed with stories, facts, puzzles and riddles, poems, activities articles and jokes. We were sent two recent issues - a Human Body Special, and and Ancient Romans Special.

The only hints that you are actually following the National Curriculum are the subtle subject headings at the top of each page...

The illustrations are colourful and modern, and the whole magazine has a really exciting feel to it. My boys were instantly drawn in, and both began reading and talking about what they were reading straightaway. They're both competent readers, and Amazing! was a little tricky for my almost 6 year old.

These are brilliant magazines for young children, with images throughout and text in shorter chunks to encourage reluctant and less confident readers. There is plenty of disgusting stuff that children love, and it's littered with random facts and asides, with loads of jokes. My children are like sponges, and they have loved reading this magazine together, with no idea at all that it's supporting their school education.

We love the Amazing! magazine and so I'm really happy to say that Amazing! have offered a copy of the May issue each for 10 of my readers.

An annual subscription to Amazing! costs £49 for 12 issues delivered to your door. In addition to the 10 giveaway copies, Amazing! have put together a special offer for my readers of 10% off subscriptions - use the code WOW10 at checkout to qualify. Find out more on the Amazing! website.

Entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below.  The giveaway is open to UK entrants only - sorry - and will close at midnight Friday April 8th to allow time for you to be added to the delivery list. please see the full terms and conditions at the bottom of the Gleam form.

  5. What I find Amazing is the human body and how it functions whilst we can think about other things like where we want to go on an Adventure etc. It amazes me how most of the time our body carries on with all it's normal functions whilst we are going about our daily tasks etc.
