Easter Events And Activities For Families In The North West (Manchester Area).

This Easter there are absolutely tons of Easter activities and events for families in the NorthWest UK, here are a few of our favourites mainly from the Manchester area...these are still the most inexpensive I can find, and all require you to get out and about. If you prefer something closer to home (or inside your house!) please see my 10 Alternatives To Eating Chocolate This Easter post...

Manchester Museum Of Science And Industry is hosting Play it! and it looks set to be awesome! Over 180 games systems and consoles plus thousands of games in one room. We loved last year's and will be previewing this year's (so watch out for my post). Opens to the general public on Friday 25th March (Good Friday). Entry to the museum is free, Play it! tickets start at £4 for 90 minutes. Age 5+, children must be accompanied. Find out more on the Museum Of Science And Industry website.

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Trafford Centre, Manchester have a brand new film in their 4D cinema The LEGO Movie 4D, A New Adventure and it's a good one - plenty for the adults as well as the children. The build area is now City Builder. Filled with an entire LEGO City - and you can join in and help create more buildings! Pre-book tickets to avoid disappointment as they restrict the number of visitors for guest comfort and safety, and you don't want to have to queue for ages. Joint Entry to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and Sealife is £20 per person aged 2+ when you book online.

Sealife, Trafford Centre, Manchester - If you are lucky you will get to meet the star of Octopus Hideout, Hank, the Giant Pacific Octopus. We've seen him now and he's huge! The octopuses are masters of disguise and we still have yet to see any of the others. Find out more and book tickets on the Sealife Website. Joint Entry to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and Sealife is £20 per person aged 2+ when you book online.

Imperial War Museum North, Manchester, will be hosting the Horrible Histories: Blitzed Brits, as well as a host of other activities over Easter. The museum is free to enter and some craft activities carry a small charge. Find out more on their website.

Z-Arts, Manchester have absolutely loads happening, far too much to list here. Check out the Z-Arts website for more details... Prices are heavily subsidised and incredibly fair.
