Two of the new ranges of Itty Bitty's in the UK for Spring 2016 are Star Wars, and Superheroes, we already had an advance look at Superman and Batman, now we've been sent 6 of the new Star Wars Itty Bitty's to review - Rey, Yoda, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, a Stormtrooper and R2-D2.
The Itty Bitty's have beans in the base and stand unaided. They are very well made and have lovely detail on the fabric - printing, embroidery and applique. One of my favourites is Rey, who has a great headband and loads of detail on the back.
Darth Vader and Kylo Ren have fantastic use of different fabrics, and it really makes them stand out. Kylo Ren's hood and scarf (cowl?) are an almost perfect fabric to match the full size genuine article.
The Droid and Stormtrooper are both mainly printed and perhaps the least exciting figures, but still very soft and cuddly, and essential to the stories...
Star of the show has to be wise old Yoda. Despite the fact he has little detail and is one of the simpler figures, somehow he always ends up being the cutest...
I think Itty Bittys are excellent value for money, especially the most detailed characters. They are a great shape, size and weight for children to hold, the character choices are brilliant, and their appeal to adults (even those who wouldn't usually buy soft toys) is massive. They're the perfect price bracket for gifts, and an achievable collectible for anyone, including children.
Itty Bitty's are currently exclusive to Gold Crown branches of Hallmark or from Hallmark's Amazon shop (affiliate*) where they cost around £6 each. They are suitable for anyone aged over 1 month old.
Amazon links are affiliate, which means I earn a few pence if you buy through my link, but you don't pay any more. The Itty Bitty's were sent by Hallmark for review.
