Mila And Pheebs Children's Stationery And Activity Box Review and 10% Code!

Mila And Pheebs are a new company offering children's stationery and activity boxes for children on a monthly basis by subscription. I get asked to review a lot of these sort of subscriptions, but this one really caught my eye for having incredibly good quality contents, with well-thought out projects and activities.

Mila And Pheebs name is inspired from their 21 month old  twins Milena and Phoebe.
"We create themed stationery and activity boxes for kids. A new box is released each month and includes items such as stickers, notebooks, pencils, word searches and a collectible iwako eraser".
The boxes are aimed at children of Primary School age, and my 6 and 7 year old boys fit that bill nicely. We were sent the May box - this has a Wonderful Woodland theme, and is a really small box, but absolutely crammed full of goodies...

The Bark Colouring Pencils, Fox Paperclip and Iwako Hedgehog Eraser are beautiful examples of some of the excellent stationery that is around, and the foam and glitter stickers really would delight any child who gets a chance to play with them. Personally I'm in love with the wooden butterfly buttons (which we've used to make the bookmarks).

There's loads of scope for 'free' work, using the children's imaginations and making whatever they want with what they are given, as well as the included craft projects.

In our kit we have a Hedgehog Craft Kit, a Bookmark Making Kit, a wordsearch and colouring in sheets and blank greetings cards to make, plus lots of additional materials including paper, felt, stickers, washi tape. The kits give your child a real starting point and get them active and using the materials.

My 7 year old prefers structured activities, so it was no surprise he wanted to tackle the Hedgehog Craft Kit, my 6 year old is much more freeform, and made the wooden bookmarks - because he had spotted he could use them with the backdrop image in the kit to create a puppet show...

My 6 year old is notoriously difficult to pin down for more than 10 minutes, but he has had lots of fun with this kit, as has his 7 year old brother, who has completed the wordsearch, coloured the pictures and made a great hegdehog which is now on the fridge with all the best artwork.

Mila And Pheebs Craft Subscription Boxes cost £9.99 per month - less if you pay for 3 or 6 months in advance. I feel the materials in our box would cost me more than that alone, even without the extra activities, the designing of the craft kits, shopping and postage. Everything is very carefully chosen, excellent quality and fired my children's imaginations as well as their artistic talents. It's frankly a beautifully designed box full.

Mila And Pheebs Craft Boxes are recommended for children aged around 6+, and a 'pay monthly' subscription can be cancelled at any time you wish. You can find out all you need to know, and order your box on the Mila And Pheebs website.

Mila and Pheebs have kindly offered even better value for any of my readers ordering before 19th June, as you can have 10% off by using the code BRICKCASTLE when you order!

  1. I love this, we've tried a few of these style boxes before but you seem to get so much in this one and I love the woodland animal theme! Great value too!
