PLAY Expo returns to Manchester at Event City 8/9 October (Ticket Giveaway)

The PLAY Expo is Europe's biggest gaming exhibition, and returns to the North of England on October 8th and 9th at Event City in Trafford Park.  This is their 5th year and we'll be there to review for the first time. We've always been busy and missed it before but, after reports from friends who went in 2015, it's been in the diary for months.

It's no secret that our whole family are gamers. Our children have all grown up watching just as much LEGO Star Wars and Tomb Raider as they have TV, and PLAY Expo is a great opportunity for us to show our 6 and 8 year old boys the kind of computer games we used to play - even though they're generally not very impressed with the graphics!

There will be absolutely masses to see and do, including:

Tomb Raider's 20th Anniversary - the largest ever Tomb Raider panel will assemble for a Q&A hosted by SkySports eSports Commentator Matt Andrews.

The northern qualifier for the Red Bull 5G tournament. Gamers will battle it out on Hearthstone, League of Legends, Project Cars, Rocket League and Street Fighter V, and the winner will be flown to Japan later this year for an amazing all-expenses paid trip.

UK developer Rebellion's VR reboot of Battlezone. First-person tank warfare across gorgeous neon landscapes. Be amongst the first in the world to try it out - competing against each other.

Big names in gaming, including Ian Livingstone CBE (Fighting Fantasy gamebooks, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) and Mevlut Dinc (Enduro Racer and Last Ninja 2).

Europe’s biggest retro gaming area, including 4-player retro lounges.

Over 100 Pinball tables, all set to free play.

Over 100 Arcade machines, also set to free play.

Indie developers showcasing some of the brightest and newest talent to be found outside

A huge Cosplay stage and masquerade

The biggest Minecraft Zone to date

Game Audio Stage hosted by The Sound Architect

Tabletop Gaming with board and card games

A LAN Gaming Zone for the PC gamers amongst us

Welcome back Parappa The Rapper amongst others in the Replay Rhythm area

Meet your online mates in the Community Zone

And more....

Weekend tickets start at £20. Day tickets start at £12. To book your tickets now, visit Play Expo Manchester.

PLAY Expo have kindly offered a pair of tickets for one of my readers - entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below. Don't be scared, it's really simple and your details are not stored or used for anything else other than informing you if you win!  For more information about using Gleam and to see my other giveaways, please go to my giveaways page...

This is a really short UK only giveaway and will end on Wednesday 28th September at midnight - in order that the winner has time to respond and they can organise your tickets! If the winner hasn't got back in touch with me by Sunday morning then I will redraw so that the prize isn't wasted.
