There are 6 issues of Okido Magazine each year, and an annual subscription costs only £19.99 by Direct Debit, or you can buy the magazines individually at £4 each. That price is very reasonable for a nice thick magazine which is crammed full. On the front of each issue it tells you what's inside "Stories, Activities, Games, Doodles, Recipe and a Poem".
Each magazine has a theme, and these are relevant to children and interesting. The magazines I'm taking photos of here have the themes 'Holidays' and 'All About Me'.
The magazine is laid out nicely for young readers to attempt by themselves or with an adult, and I feel there are a really good mix of activities for different age groups, with nothing that my 8 year old would really consider 'babyish'.
If your children are fans of Okido, and especially if you have watched the CBeebies show, then you might be pleased to hear that there is a range of merchandise available at really fair prices. £10 will get your child a t-shirt or a talking soft toy, and it's also the price you pay for the DVD.
You can find out much more, shop or subscribe on the Okido website.
Okido have offered 2 of my readers 6 of their back issues as a prize in my Christmas Present Giveaways. They aren't topical with news, current affairs or any of that adult stuff, so as long as your child hasn't read them before, this is as good as whole year's subscription! Entry to the Giveaway is by the Gleam form below.
The giveaway is open to UK entrants only and will end at midnight Sunday 4th December. Full terms and conditions are at the bottom of the Gleam form. You can find help with Gleam and see all of my Christmas Present Giveaways here...
