Name A Star - Star Name Registry Gifts Review And Giveaway

The Star Name Registry is the UK's no.1 online star registry. Naming your star is as easy as filling in a really short form and it will be added into the Star Name Registry within 24 hours. You star will be visible from the UK and their gift sets are ideal for just about anyone. We've been sent the Extra Bright Star Gift Set to review.

The Extra Bright Star Gift Set comes in a plain presentation box. Pretty and protective, I was able to just tie it up with a ribbon to give it as a gift - and my partner had no idea what was going to be inside, nor would he ever have guessed.

Inside the large silver presentation box, protected by tissue paper, are the following:

A4 Star Name Deed in a silver certificate frame
The Sky Atlas star maps
Confirmation letter
Extra Bright Star gift explained

Our star name was to be a birthday present for my partner and choosing a star name proved more tricky than I thought! Sentimental, personal, witty, memorial, functional, it was hard to come to a final decision.

I went for something with a lot of meaning for us, but also hopefully a little witty. I liked the idea something might happen nearby and the man on the news saying "to the left of Tardis Refuelling Station".

For an extra £9.99 you can choose which of the constellations visible from the UK you want your star to be in. I chose Phoenix and there are over 80 others to choose from, so you can choose by starsign or any other significance, or simply because you like the name.

The frame is lovely quality with spring-loaded clips and a plain silver, which won't offend anyone if you are buying as a gift. It complements the printing and silver seal at the bottom of the certificate really nicely.

The Star Name Registry has several different enveloped and gift boxed star naming packages available starting at £14.99. You can order extra deed certificates or add messages to gifts, and really create something very personal and special.

The Extra Bright Star Gift Set costs £44.99 and I think his silence when he opened it showed just how touched my partner was with his...

You can find out about all of the different star naming packages and gifts on the Star Name Registry Website.

Star Name Registry have offered one of their enveloped version star naming packages for one of my readers in a giveaway. The winner will receive their own entry into the Star Name Registry, their A4 Star Name Deed, The Sky Atlas star maps and confirmation letter - worth £24.99.

Entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below. Open to UK entrants only, the giveaway will end at midnight Sunday 2nd July. Full terms and conditions are at the bottom of the Gleam form.
