Tile - Tracker that locates your property AND your phone! Review & giveaway (2 prizes)

I've used property locator devices in the past, but they've never been ideal. Tile is a really gorgeous bluetooth fob with a minimum guaranteed 1 year battery life and it is supported by the world's most popular Bluetooth tracking app. You can attach the fob to keys, toys, cats, bags or anything else you might lose. More than that, if you can't find your phone, you can even use your tile to find that.

Utterly gorgeous, you know you have something carefully designed before you even open the box. I'm reviewing the Pro Style & Sport double pack, which has one each of white/gold Style Tile and black/grey Sport Tile.

You download the app. and pair the Tile to your mobile phone. Give it a name, category, even a photo if you wish. Lose the Tile and you can ask your phone where it is, or where it was last spotted by anyone using the app.  If I can't find my phone, I can call it by double pressing the button on my Tile, even if it's on silent.

The Style Tile and the Sport Tile have a 200ft range. You are shown an exact location for your item, with enough clarity that I can tell if it is in the kitchen, living room or left outside in the van. As you get closer, the Tile or phone will 'beep' more rapidly to show proximity, helping you find something even when it's fallen under a table or is inside a bag.

What makes Tile so much better than previous trackers/locators I've had is the sheer volume of users. If you lose your item then you can find out the last known location that it was spotted by anyone using the Tile app. who passed nearby. I have never seen less than 367 Tile members in my local area (approx 6 mile radius). You've got to have a really good chance of getting your lost belongings back.

You can 'share' any of your tiles, including your phone, with anyone else you want and the app. is so simple that it's a joy to use. Battery life is guaranteed for 1 year from activation and Tile is 99% recyclable. Any time after 11 months you can order a cut price replacement at around 40% discount.

The Tile is very light and can be attached to whatever you might be able to lose. It's not suitable for children under 3, but if your 5 year old has a favourite teddy, it can have a new collar and you can stop worrying so much about leaving it behind on the bus. The Tile Sport and Tile Style are also waterproof to 1.5m for 30 minutes. After a week on our keys they look as good a new and haven't suffered from scratches. They're very user-friendly.

The uses for the Tile trackers are virtually unlimited. We couldn't be happier with them so far. and are buying more for our teenager's keys, Gary the cat and my partner's wallet. You can drop one in your handbag, school bag or even your child's P.E. or swimming kit. You can stick it to your TV remote or games controller, your tent or belongings at festivals, on your pushbike - anything which you lose or fear losing.

Tile have a host of different products available and you receive a discount the more you buy. The pack we've reviewed is the new Pro Series Combo Pack 1 x Style plus 1 x Sport rrp £50. Find out more on the Tile website or take a look at the following video...
