World Football Records 2019 Edition
(release date Nov 20th)
A massive compendium full of records and record breakers by country and by tournament. From the longest to the fastest to the folk with the most, there are plenty of accounts of individual's achievements and teams that really did work together.
This is the 10th edition of the World Football Records book and it's hot off the press and up-to-date, so you really won't find a better fact file for a dedicated fan, or a reader who simply wants to know everything. Written by Keir Radnedge, 256 pages, rrp TBC approx £20.
Neymar: The Ultimate Fan Book
This book contains everything a true fan of Neymar could ever want to know. From his early life in Brazil learning to play, through his career and his wins, records and achievements so far. It also talks about his fans, clubs and team-mates and asks, 'what next?'
Any fan would love this book. Full of photos alongside the text, with tables and even a quiz at the end, it's an excellent 'annual' style stockingfiller.
One from a series of unofficial Ultimate Fan Books published by Carlton, others include Messi and Ronaldo. Written by Nick Callow, 64 pages, rrp £7.99.
eSports Superstars
Live video gaming is the world's fastest growing sport (although some might call it a hobby) and the prize money and number of people who watch is in the millions. eSports Superstars covers the tournaments, teams, players and games that make it what it is.
Full of stats and figures with glossy images throughout, this is another great 'annual' style hardbacked book which will have plenty to offer fans and players alike. 64 pages, rrp £7.99, written by Kevin Pettiman.
