Ultimate Cars: The World's Most Amazing Speed Machines isn't just about speed. It starts with the history of the motor vehicle and it's manufacture, and the rest of the book is split into 5 sections - Performance Cars, Iconic Cars, Crazy Cars, Racing Cars and Future Cars.
Absolutely full of original photographs and some gorgeous retouching and illustrations with a muted 50's feel, this is a book which will suit any primary school-aged child around 4+ who loves cars. They can be happy looking at the pictures until they are old enough to read the words.
The text is naturally broken into manageable chunks which are ideal for less confident readers and the language is easy for a child to understand. This is a thick book with 80 full colour pages of information and quite a lot of nostalgia too for the grown ups...
Ultimate Cars: The World's Most Amazing Speed Machines is written by Clive Gifford and published by Carlton Kids Books. 80 full colour pages and best suited to children aged around 4-10. Available to buy now priced £9.99rrp from all good bookshops, including online at Amazon*.
