Inside were some Slurpees, plus a bogey green Winter survival kit. Socks, lip balm, hand warmer, hat, blanket and mug. The Slurpees Snot Suckers come in 4 different colour varieties and each has it's own 30g of coloured slime in a resealable pot.
We decided to open all of the Slurpees and one pot of slime to start with. The slime is a tiny bit runnier and definitely more like what you'd blow out of your nose than regular slime, although that could just be my imagination...
The Slurpees are rubbery characters with a big trunk-like nose. They are hollow and can be squeezed, so when you let them go they inflate again and this is when they suck up the snot. If you're lucky they'll also make noises - more fart than sniff, but fittingly revolting.
It's truly as gross as it sounds. The boys find it soothing and fun to try and let the longest bogey possible fall to the table, then suck it back up just before it touches. I've raised 7 children, worked in a nursery and as a childminder, and it just brings back traumatic memories for me...
I'm sure Slurpees Snot Suckers will be incredibly popular. They're exactly the sort of stockingfiller that my kids have all loved. Be warned you may need more slime though - our whole little pot ended up strewn across my table, and when I asked who did it I was told it was the Slurpees....
It's a collectible and it has slime, and it's truly horrible. What more could a child want? Available nationwide from The Entertainer, Argos, Smyths and Toymaster rrp £5 each.
We were sent our Slurpees Snot Suckers for review.
