All of our land and sea creatures are suitable for anyone 12 months and over. They are approximately 25cm/10" tall or long (with a smaller 7" size range also available). Super soft and cuddly, they come with their own cardboard display plinth. In fact the display plinth is the only real packaging and there aren't any plastic bags involved.
In honesty the display plinth isn't fantastic and 2 of ours are a bit crumpled. You can't see much of the plinth when the toys are on them, but they would be a definite bonus for someone who wants their soft toys for a shelf model.
Each of the soft toys has the official label to prove they're genuine and arrives with a tag on their arm with some interesting information about that animal, plus a QR code you can scan to be shown clips from Blue Planet or Planet Earth.
These are gorgeous quality soft toys with perfectly sewn seams, and good detailed finishing. The materials are superb and the fabric very soft. With arms, legs and necks, they're easily held by a very small child, but my big 9 year old loves his Penguin just as much. Apparently they can also make a good pillow...
I was disappointed with these toys having plastic tags to attach labels and swing tags, and fastening the toys to their display stand, however Posh Paws have contacted me to say that this is not going to be the case in future. I'm absolutely delighted with this news, reducing single use plastic is exactly the message that Blue Planet aims to get across. I hope more manufacturers follow suit.
We absolutely love watching Blue Planet and Planet Earth, and other BBC Earth documentaries. The most recent series' show us exactly why we should never be wasteful, and to think of the real and complete cost of whatever we do - to the Earth and it's inhabitants, and not only our wallet. To see some clips and read more, you can check out the truly fascinating BBC Earth website.
