Chamomile is an easy to grow herb and a well-known herbal tea. Chamomile tea is best consumed before bedtime because of its potential sleep benefits. It also helps you to be more relaxed. If you have diabetes, it is recommended to drink at least one cup of this tea after meals.

Compared to other tea plants, Chamomile does not grow too high and needs only four sun exposure hours. For maintenance, ensure that its soil is moist enough and not over-watered. You can also add organic matter when planting for healthier leaves. 

Rosemary

Known for its antioxidant properties, Rosemary is proven and effective in boosting your immune system. It is therefore recommended to plant this savory herb inside houses. Aside from antioxidants, the herb is also rich in anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial compounds. 

You can expose it to direct sunlight for at least six hours a day since it prefers more acidic soil. It grows healthier when properly exposed to sun rays. Once you notice that the soil is drying, water the plant, and make sure that it will never completely dry out. 

Lemon Verbena

The Lemon Verbena plant is considered one of the most common lemon-flavored herbs. This is great for treating digestive disorders and even skin-related conditions. The plant is also served as one of the main ingredients for alcoholic beverages. 

Since Lemon Verbena requires bright but filtered rays of the sun, place it two feet away from a sunny spot. It also requires regular irrigation to avoid possible leaf drop and insect infestation. Make sure to regularly prune the plant as it can be taller than what you have expected. 

Ginger

This is one of the most usual herbs in South and East Asia. Ginger provides various health benefits, such as lowering your blood pressure. It also has antibacterial and antioxidant properties. In ancient China, Ginger was widely praised and mainly used as a health tonic. 

Growing your Ginger in a container takes time; thus, be patient. You will notice a sprout growing from the surface after two to three weeks. Place it in a warm room, and expose it to indirect sunlight. You can also add fertilizer every six to eight weeks for more nourished roots and leaves. 


Jasmine


Jasmine flowers are known for making fresh and scented teas. It contains beneficial properties that can boost your immune system and provides healthier and glowing skin. It can also treat numerous diseases like diabetes, heart diseases and even prevent cancer's potential risk. 


Hibiscus


Hibiscus belongs to tropical flowers that will surely serve as an additional scenic attraction to your interior. When the flowers are ready, pick them fresh, and let them dry before making tea. It is best for reducing cholesterol, blood pressure and for weight loss. 


Anise

The plant can grow for up to two feet or even more in alkaline, well-drained soil. Its flowers will be ready after four weeks. For a fresh flavor and aroma, immediately harvest its flowers and consume them as tea.
