April #TBCSmiles. 80 Months...

We're coming out of lockdown, our hospitals are back to more normal occupancy levels, the sun has been shining and it certainly feels a little easier from where I'm sitting. The pressure has lifted a bit, and everyone can take a bit of a breather.

We might not have a bump-free path ahead, but I think we're all enjoying the respite, and it was definitely needed - as was Easter, a break and maybe a little chocolate...

Something else to make us smile are other people's smiles, and you haven't let us down. We had Easter and good weather, and it's great to see so many outdoor photos this month - barely anyone shared photos indoors.

Anyone is welcome to join in and share your smiles on Instagram, simply use the hashtag #tbcsmiles That's also where you will find all of the thousands of smiles people have already shared with us, and you will definitely find some of your own...

Here are just 9 (well, 19) of the biggest and brightest smiles shared this month..

These smiles were shared by the following instagrammers:

BeautiesAndTheBibs / ChocolateAndWineAndIllBeFine / MiniTravellers
OurLittleEscapades / TheStrawberryFountain / MrsAmyLFox

My family made our own smiles too - including a 2nd lockdown birthday for our newly 11 year old. Happy birthday to anyone who has had to have 2 very low key celebrations...

If you are feeling the pressure ease - hurrah! If you aren't, that's okay too. It's all a bit scary, and you aren't alone. Take each day on it's own merits, don't set unattainable goals. Remember bite sized chunks can still nibble away a problem to nothing, and if each achievement is bite-sized, then you CAN succeed, rather than continue to feel you can't do it. You can. It'll be okay.

    1. They do! I hope they made you smile, although I know you are still suffering the effects of COVID and not having the best time. Take these smiles as being especially for you - you need them x
